Seko Tunnelbanan, Klubb 111 har skickat idag två solidaritetsuttalanden till Portugal och Grekland.

Det första är till facket i Lissabons tunnelbanan. Facket där kämpar för emot privatiseringen samt bättre löner och kollektivavtal.

Seko Klubb 111,  the union of metro workers in Stockholm, Sweden which organizes thousands of workers, expresses on behalf of our board and members, its solidarity with the workers of the Lisbon Metro (Metropolitano de Lisboa) of Portugal, who are fighting for a Collective Agreement, salary increases and quality public transport.

Transport workers, especially during the pandemic, were at the forefront, with many colleagues falling victims to the pandemic. The need to strengthen the struggle against privatizations, for public, cheap and high quality transports to serve the people .

We support the struggle of the Lisbon Metro workers and their just demands.

Den andra uttalandet handlar om att en hamnarbetare dog på sin arbetsplats i Pireus hamn och facket utlyste strejk för att skydda hamnarbetarna och kräver skyddsåtgärder för hälsan och liv.

Solidarity to COSCO dockworkers

Seko Klubb 111, the union of metro workers in Stockholm, Sweden which organizes thousands of workers, expresses our solidarity to your strike, on behalf of our board and members. Comrades we express our anger for the murder of the 45 years old worker from COSCO. The strike that the union of ENEDEP declared it´s necessary to defend the right of the workers to better health and security measures at the port, to not have more deaths of workers. Our deep condolences to his family and all the workers in COSCO.
