Solidaritet till arbetarklassen i Storbritannien

Seko Klubb 111, the union of workers in Stockholm´s underground in Sweden denounces the new attempt by the British Government and the capitalists to attack the right to strike, criminalise trade union action and intimidate workers in struggle.

For two years ago the Swedish government, the capitalists and unfortunately also the leadership of our unions did similar things.

At a time when millions of workers are demanding pay rises to enable them to survive the huge wave of inflation, the British Government is rushing to defend the profits of the capital by pushing through new reactionary legislation against workers’ right to strike. With the bill it is promoting under the hypocritical “minimum service level” argument, it actually wants to turn strikes into a blank cheque and criminalise striking workers by allowing them to be sacked.

The right to strike was won through struggle and no law can abolish it!

We support the struggles and demands of the workers of Great Britain!

Hands off the #RightToStrike!

One for all och all for one!

Solidaritet till RMT i Storbritannien

Företaget i Storbritannien sparkade via Zoom digitalt möte (!) 800 st sjömän i Storbritannien.

”Seko Klubb 111, the union who organises all workers in Stockholm´s underground in Sweden, expresses its solidarity with the seafarers of P&O Ferries and the RMT Union in their fight against the multinational shipping company P&O that fired 800 seafarers on Thursday 17 March through a ZOOM call (!) of the employer, which aims to replace the seafarers from contractors with lower salaries, even through the transfer of employees from other countries.

According to the RMT union, there were cases where security forces were used and even handcuffed the workers to take them away from their posts.

We also notice that this kind of attacks from various governments and companies are taking place in many countries to undermine workers’ rights to decent wages, with rights and Collective Bargaining Agreements.

Seko Klubb 111 expresses its support to the mobilizations of the RMT Union and P&O seafarers in Liverpool, Dover and Hull on Friday. We are on your side and we support your fair fight for the cancelation of the dismissals.”

With comrade greetings
